My name is John Christiansen. I love traveling the world with my family, we have been to many startling and amazing places. I love culture. I am a determined worker.  I am looking forward to the future and what life holds for me.

    Several years ago, I high altitude trekked for a month in the villages of the Himalayas around Mt. Everest.  I climbed above 18,000ft. This experience taught me how to push myself to extreme physical and mental limits. I washed my clothes side by side with the Sherpa women in cold buckets of dirty water and I ate with them around fires made of “yak dung”.  Most importantly I experienced the terrible poverty that is in our world and I acquired a stronger essence of gratitude for what we have.
